What is Cementing

Here cementing refers to gas or oil well perforating. During cementing oil wells, cements are pumped into a wellbore for further drilling of wells. Cementing is used to seal the wellbore and reinforce the structure of wells. It also permanently shut off water penetration into the well. Additionally, cementing is used to seal a lost circulation zone, or an area where there is a reduction or absence of flow within the well. Cementing is performed when the cement slurry is deployed into the well via pumps, displacing the drilling fluids still located within the well, and replacing them with cement. Then, the cement slurry flows to the bottom of the wellbore through the casings. And the casing are the pipes through which the hydrocarbons flow to the surface. From there it fills in the space between the casing and the actual wellbore. This creates a seal so that outside materials cannot enter the well flow, as well as permanently positions the casing in place.

Hubei petrokh offers various oilfield cementing equipments based on our abundant experience and deserving your input. In our cementing units, slurry consistency and the factors affecting wet shoes are accurately controlled. Beside, the possibility of fluid contamination points is reduced.
